This is the totally redesigned Dime Bag. It bears little resemblance to the
original except that it can be worn as a hip bag/fanny pack on your belt or
on your bicycle handle bars. The usable space is bigger, the belt loops are
bigger and we added a carry handle for when you don’t want it on your belt
or your bike. The Dime Bag is perfect for tools or for carrying a few small
things, like your phone, small tablet, wallet, pens and sunglasses. It’s
overall shape is more like our messenger bags, but it measures just
2″x 6″x 8″. We’ve added a reinforced bottom, a zipper pocket on the flap,
made the front pocket out of waterproof VCP, and added the
aforementioned handle. We also have it on good authority that it will
comfortably carry 2 tall-boys. So that’s good.

My road bike pannier rack was too thin to strap a lock to and I finally found the dime bag. It fits perfectly on my rack and holds my lock, wallet, phone and keys. I put it on my mountain bike handlebars when trail riding and wear it on my hip when motorcycling. It has gotten a lot of use in three years and is still in perfect shape.

Awesome, glad to hear that you are getting so much versatile use out of your Dime Bag! Thanks for the great review 🙂

This is my second Dime Bag. Wore the first one out after several years, then upgraded to the newer model. I really like the more squared off dimensions and additional pockets, allows for more storage capacity and a larger eReader (Kobo H2O) + case while still leaving room for tools, lights, and other thangs. The belt/bar straps and velcro also seem to be reinforced. An all around great hip bag, just big enough to carry what you need but compact enough to practically disappear while riding.

One addition that was made to mine (a pre-release model), I have a light strap on the flap of mine for ziptying a planet bike flasher to. SUPER handy. Keeps one less thing clipped to my belt and puts it at perfect eye-to-ass level for drivers.

Best damn thing I’ve ever put around my hips. I wanted to replace my backpack with something smaller and, well, this did the trick. I can carry everything I need for roadside repairs and fine-tunes. I carry a small pump, tube, patch kit, multiool, wallet, phone, lights, cables to charge whatever, and can even stick a 24oz beer in on top of it all. This thing even kept everything dry while I was commuting in some Harvey storms. I would love to see a fanny pack option or something, can be heavy on a belt if that’s what your trying to do but, whatever, I bought a seatbelt to use as permanent thing. Also fit on my handlebars flawlessly. Really the only thing I need whenever I leave my house
